I really don't think so, I think we can find 10 faster teams.

These two teams belongs in the "A" race

Arkansas: Filler, W. Spearmon, T. Gay, Filler (there are literally five names you could add here and it would still be class.)
        SJSU: R. Norton, T. Smith, R. Smith, J. Carlos

        Others:
        UTEP: Martina, Beamon and others
FAMU: Did they have anybody besides Hayes and Rey Robinson?
Pitt: Lee McRae, Carvin Nkanata, Roger Kingdom, a fourth (Spratling)?

FAMU would run Hayes and Robinson along with 9.3 guy Charles Hopkins and 9.4er Eugene White. They however really don't belong at this level.

Arkansas would go with...J-Mee Samuels, Wallace Spearmon, Tyson Gay and Vincent Henderson but who do they replace?

UTEP would run..Jerome Deal, Olapade Adeniken, Churandy Martina and Oba Thompson, but who do they replace?

You nailed SJS but once again...who do they replace?

Can't really make a case for Pitt.

I'll put those you mentioned that belong in the B race.....for now

Leaving out the USC '67 WR team?
Anyone beyond Lennox Miller worthy of nomination twice on teams with three other different runners?

              Just a fantasy

Not sure I understand what you're asking.

If it's a sprinter who could be on two different teams...

              Stanley Floyd...Auburn/Houston
              Dwayne Evans..ASU/Arizona

Getting back to that USC team. What an interesting mix

Earl McCullouch...world class hurdler, NFLer to be 9.4ish?
Fred Kuiller...a former JC record holder at 9.3
O.J.Simpson...the greatest running back in the land 9.4
Lennox Miler...an Olympic medalist to be, 9.2

                Re: NCAA 4x1 (the ultimate)

Ok, I'm thinking of three teams where each has two Olympic medalists on them and another team with an anchorman who was once ranked number one in the world in the 100m.

                ???

I challenge you to come up with a "women's 4x1 ultimate".

                    Hmmm?

If you can fill up the remaining lanes with those teams that belong in the top 20, I 'll take your challenge.
