In 77 we had 400m guy Robert E. Tylor and 110h hurdler Donnie Taylor, I'm thinking sprinter Fred Taylor was around then. When it cools down (central Cali) I'll see what I can find in those old T&FN I have in boxes in my "hot" garage.

Todd Harbour was on the Junior Team in against the Soviets in Donetsk. I traveled with the team as the Travel Coordinator. Fortunately, I still have my notebook with the complete roster. There was a second meet in Lubeck with the West Germans.

Sorry, I erased the year, it was 1978.

That 1977 USA-USSR meet was were Ukrainian Vladimir Yashchenko broke Dwight Stones world high jump record, clearing 7'-7 3/4" (2.33), using the straddle.
