1952 Olympic Decathalon

Bob Mathias won his second consecutive decathalon title in Helsinki. Anybody out there know who the other two medalists were, what the three medalists scores were and marks and points for each of their 10 individual events?

If you have a website which has the informatin please let me have it as I am attempting to verify all the competitors. I don't have a copy of the 1956 T&F News Olympic issue.

When will people learn to spell and pronounce DECATHLON correctly? There is no extra "A" in the middle of the word. Anyone who says "decathalon" or "heptathalon" or "triathalon" is a MORON, "irregardless" of what dumb-ass backwater you come from! Most of the imbeciles who use these non-words are "sports reporters", the dumbest a****les on the planet.

Not only is "irregardless" not a word, but if it was it would mean the exact opposite of your intended use.

Funny, I thought I came here just because I wanted to gather a little more information on an event that interested me. Not to be called a moron because I misspelled a word. Obviously I should have used spell check since my inferior intellect was not up to doing it myself.
