Yes, but the original question asked about marks making the top 10 list. Since he did not specify that he was referring to marks making the top 10 performer list, one could assume that he meant marks making the top 10 marks list.

And one could also assume (which I did) that he meant top performER list, since I'm not even sure Carl's 28'3" would make the top 10 American performANCE list.

(PerformERS lists.) Ryun's 3:51.3(dirt track) obviously equals the official 10th on list (3:51.39) even if converted to 3:51.44c - so he's one! After posing question, I researched - and there are many (about 20!) teens, m&f, who would be on US alltime top 10s!

Yeah, but his 3:51.3 was before his 20th birthday, and, depending on if you want to play the conversion game or not, it would make the top 10 list.
