It's not Carl's fault, it is the fault of the person who asked him to sing. Had they heard him sing before or did they take his word for it?

Sadly, this is an espn issue. In our nation, due to espn, Lewis is more known as a bad singer than one of the greatest athletes in history. I consider that a media crime.
ESPN has it in for track and disrespects the institution at evry opp:
-Matt Millen , the worst GM in in NFL history, is a well paid analyst who rails about the "softness" of "track guys" playing football. His opinion explains much about why he was the worst GM ever.
-Ashton Eaton's WR decathlon was number 10 on plys of the day. Number 9 was a lady (spectator) catching a foul ball in her hat at Fenway Park.
-In the little track shown by the network, no imagination is allowed in the hiring of analysts. The same tired analysts, hired by other networks, are retreaded by the four letter group and given a bully pulpit to display their utter lack of preparation.
I could go on...
but I shall not.
