    Don't you mean the earlier athlete with the same initials won an OG gold 28 years earlier, rather than 32 years?

        Very good, gm33 and happy birthday to Livio Berruti. Berruti won Olympic gold about 32 years after another L.B. (Lord Burghley) won his Olympic gold medal. Yes, I know his name was David, but results usually show Lord Burghley. Luigi Beccali would also work, especially coming from the same country. Happy 75th birthday to Livio Berruti. Rumor has it that Livio will light newspapers and programs instead of candles today.
