Re: A Swedish question.
I had just come home from taking my family to see the new Harry Potter film and I saw the question, got my answer and then sat there and decided whether or not to put the 2.13 down (I know about the 7/8 measurement) or just his name and I decided to show off. Well I got the right guy and the wrong date. Half credit???

Re: A Swedish question.
So Powell is right. It has to be the 2.15 jump from 1961 as the 2.13 from the previous year was about 2mm under 7ft.
Stig "Stickan" Pettersson is one of the four greatest Swedish HJers of modern times IMHO. The other three would be Bengt Nilsson, Patrick Sjoberg and Stefan Holm.

Yeah, well I was thinking more in context of the 7ft question so it felt more logical to go with the males.
Nothing would please me more than Strand getting back in shape for the OG but I don't think his record is quite as good as the four I mentioned.
Also his name is Staffan not Stefan.
