        Did any of the dual OC / WC champs do it over a four year span? (Too lazy to look it up myself). Of course with the World's being every other "odd" year, I guess I'm really asking if anyone did it over a five year period.

          Avdeyenko won in '83 and '88; Austin won in '91 and '96; Sotomayor won in '92 and '97 (and '93).

          Sotomayor would have been a leading contender in '88 without the Cuban boycott.
