      Re: Brando passed away

      His track career?
Brando said "You don't understand. I cudda had class. I cudda been a contendah! I cudda been someBODY! Instead of a bum. Which is what I am. Let's face it."

      'nuff said.

I have not seen the movie since it first came out but I do not think that it was Sim Pickens who played Lon. Cannot remember who it was though.

imdb.com says it was, indeed, Slim Pickens.

Both Marlon Brando and CJ Hunter ate tremendous amounts of food in CJ's memorable 2000 year. They both weighed in excess of 300 pounds that year.

But what was Slim Picken's greatest-ever role, and what was his last unforgettable appearance in that movie ? ( Hint : he went out with a bang. )

And in what movie, did Karl Malden, after his son says, " I'm sorry," reply, "So am I, so am I."

Malden's part was in a pulp movie, based on novel by Mildred Savage. Large but supporting role, pretty boy Troy Donahue in the title lead.

Is Karl Malden's nose the largest ever recorded or merely in the top ten?

                            Jimmy Durante is the champ.

Slim Pickens (Major King Kong) had a great scene in Strangelove, but clearly his greatest role was as Taggart in Blazing Saddles ("somebody head back into town and get a shitload of dimes")
