  • 1968 hand times 200m, 400m

Does anyone have "all performances hand times" for 200m

AT 20.4? The 1968 ATFS list stops at 20.3 (34 performances).

And also...I am looking for "hand timed" performances at

400m from 45.3 to 45.7 for 1968, the ATFS list stops at

    45.2 (33 performances).

    Can anyone help with this?

    Many many thanks in advance!!!

Here are a few hand-times of 400 races in 1968 that I don't see in the ATFS lists. The formatting may be a bit messed up but I think you can figure it out. The asterisks are for 440 times minus 0.3.

    45.8 * Hardee McAlhaney 2 Knoxville, TN 6-Apr-68
45.6 Hal Francis 1 NAIA Billings, MT 1-Jun-68
45.8 Henry Smothers 2 NAIA Billings, MT 1-Jun-68
    45.5 * Lee Evans 1 San Diego, CA 1-Jun-68
    45.6 * Ron Freeman 2 San Diego, CA 1-Jun-68
    45.6 * Vince Matthews 3 San Diego, CA 1-Jun-68
    45.5 * Lee Evans 1 Los Angeles, CA 7-Jun-68
    45.8 * Tom Tuner 2 USTFF Houston, TX 8-Jun-68
45.8 Ron Freeman 1h1 NCAA Berkeley, CA 13-Jun-68
45.4 Larry James 2 NCAA Berkeley, CA 15-Jun-68
45.4 Ron Freeman 3 NCAA Berkeley, CA 15-Jun-68
45.8 Tommy Turner 4 NCAA Berkeley, CA 15-Jun-68
45.8 Vince Matthews 1h1 AAU Sacramento, CA 20-Jun-68
45.4 Wayne Collett 3 AAU Sacramento, CA 21-Jun-68
45.8 Hal Francis 7 SOT Los Angeles, CA 30-Jun-68
    45.7 Ron Freeman 1 Walnut, CA 10-Aug-68
    45.8 Lee Evans 2 Walnut, CA 10-Aug-68
    45.4 A Jim Kemp 3 Echo Summit, CA 31-Aug-68
    45.7 A Henry Smothers 4 Echo Summit, CA 31-Aug-68

For what it's worth, the ATFS annual shows Tommie Smith ran 45.2 (not 45.4) in Victoria in Sep 1968

Yes, that is possible ( the 45.2), I don't have the official results anymore.
