Happy 68th birthday today (Friday) to an Olympic champion who won five Olympic medals.

From this athlete's birthplace to the Olympic city where this person won Olympic gold is approximately 536 miles or 863 km.

Our birthday athlete owns a complete set of Olympic medals (gold, silver, and bronze).

Believe it or not, but our birthday person's spouse has more Olympic gold medals than does our birthday athlete.

You need nor concern yourself with the hurdles when thinking about an event for our birthday champion.

I imagine more than one of you know this person. Please name our birthday athlete for this penultimate Friday of October.

Happy birthday today to Valeriy Borzov (68) and nice going, Davidokun. It's been 45 years since Borzov won the sprint double in Munich (1972). Six days after he won the 200, Borzov anchored the USSR relay team to a silver medal behind the U.S. The U.S. ran a world record of 38.19 to win the four by 100 relay in West Germany. Borzov completed his Olympic set of medals in Montreal (1976) when he took two bronze medals (100 & relay).
