Also has him singing...remember when he sang the national anthem at a basketball game?! Definately should have been sent to the slammer for that.

If you were to incarcerate every singer who ever mangled the national anthem, you'd need a prison the size of Montana.

Geoff Nelson (who does constant research on straddle high jumpers) told me in an email a few months ago that Ni Chih-Chin was in prison in China and slated to be released sometime this year. I don't know why he was incarcerated.

I remember my dad telling me that Eddie Anderson, who played the role of "Rochester" on the Jack Benny Show had a son that was a champion high hurdler in high schook in California, but that he got into trouble with drugs and went to jail. He may even have ended his own life as I recall.

You can add '76 Olympic PVer, Terry Porter, to the team. He spent 8 years in prison for rape.

Ken Patera is better known as a weightlifter and pro wrestler, but he
was also a shotputter at BYU so he qualifies for this thread. He, along
with a Japanese pro wrestler, trashed a McDonald's in Wisconsin several
years ago and consequently did time in the slammer.
