Any track stats on Riley Washington, Warren Wells, Mercury Morris and Rae Carruth ? Shouldn't Micah Harris be given a lane ?
I'm thinking Washington ran a 10.30 as a Cali high schooler, then off to Nebraska to play some football. Have heard Warren Wells revered to as a 9.4 guy outta Texas Southern..but??? No doubt Eugene "Mercury" Morris had some speed. Carruth ran some 4.3 stuff at Colorado. Didn't know about Harris other than him being a hurdler.

Why is my BS meter starting to flicker? I'd like to see some documentation on this one.
Never saw this thread when it was first up.

If the Tarzan Brown story is true, the U.S. Olympic Committee did a good job keeping it out of the press, as there is no reference to it either in the New York Times or the Los Angeles Times.

OJ hasn't spent time in prison yet. Being held without bail pending in County Jail doesn't count.

How about Charlie Wells in the 100m line-up. He had a 10.0 hand time while at Ariz. St. in the mid 70's.

You might want to save a lane for Steve Riddick.

Ken Patera is better known as a weightlifter and pro wrestler, but he
was also a shotputter at BYU so he qualifies for this thread. He, along
with a Japanese pro wrestler, trashed a McDonald's in Wisconsin several
years ago and consequently did time in the slammer.
