    Speculating on whether WVN will be able to come back and improve on his 43.03 led me to the following interesting observation. You have to go back to 1956 to find an athlete, Lou Jones, able to set a second world record in the 400. In the 800, on the other hand, every single WR breaker all the way back to Fiasconaro has done it at least twice. All other running events, both shorter and longer, have a mix of single and multiple record setters. This makes me think that repeating will be extraordinarily difficult for Wayde ...
