    Wedneday, July 9 7:00 to 7:30 am
Sports Challenge: California Angels vs Track & Field Stars

    Wednesday, July 9 7:30 to 8:00 am
    The Legend of Jim Ryun

    The Legend of Carl Lewis

    Wednesday, July 16 7:30 to 8:00 am
    The Legend of Evelyn Ashford

    Monday, July 21 10:00 to 10:30 am
Dick Schaap 1-on-1 with Al Oerter

    Wednesday, July 23 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Sportscentury: 1991 (maybe we'll get Lewis v. Powell?)

    Thursday, July 24 8:00 to 9:00 pm
Sportcentury: WIlma Rudolph (repeats on 7/27 at 10 am)

In addition, an old Sports Spectacular or Wide World of Sports is shown every weekday from 11:00 am to noon. The content is never listed, but the other day I caught the 1970 women's AAU championships amongst other things.

    Gentlemen, set your VCRs!

I caught Sports Century 1983 last week and thought they might give some coverage (well, at least a mention) of the first Worlds. No such luck. But they did do a ten-minute segment on Cheryl Tiegs' controversial SI swimsuit cover. Priorities . . .

As much as I love track, I might not argue with those priorities . . .
