Re: Who is missing from the list?

Slaney is top 10 for the 2000m too
and Briana Shook is 6th in the 3000m Steeple, so not sure if it counts as it has those little jumpy things in it.

now im just being an nuisance/idiot/annoying brat as i know u said off the T&FN lists but Cathy O'Brien in the 10mile road run is ranked 9th in the mens 15km road race Todd Williams is 8th, and in the 10km road race Mark Nenow is 4th, the US is 5th in the 4x1500m Dan Aldridge Andy Clifford Tom Duits and Todd Harbour.and they are also 7th with Jim McKeon Steve Scott Chuck Aragon and Jim Spivey. and 4th in the 30000m track is Bill Rodgers, he is also third in the 25000m track.plus there is all those US colleges in the 4x1500, 4xmile, etc etc ok ill stop nwo before everyone in track and field hates me haahahahah

Re: Who is missing from the list?

Mr. Cookie, Right you are I was not thinking of those jumpy thingies and the ones with the stick nor did I think to look off track at any of the roadies and hill and dale types and at distances between the 10K and Marathon. I,on purpose, left off the throwie jumpy ones. I'll try to do a better job in posting next time aroundand check my facts a bit deeper. What site does lead to the most up to date lists?

Re: Who is missing from the list?

eldrick, rather than answer the question for you, I'll walk you through the steps I take when I'm inquisitive. Sort of a "give a man a fish, or teach him to fish" kind of thing. Perhaps if I share my methods others will benefit? Perhaps not?

To start off, it helps to get into a third-grader frame of mind. Are you there yet, poopyhead? I am. Let's go!

                    step 1. highlight data

                    step 2. right-click and COPY.

step 3. right-click and PASTE data in Google search field.

                    step 4. examine results:
                    http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=n ... rta+Brunet

step 5. cogitate. third result down I see something that could be paydirt. hmmm... "women's 2000m" hmmmm.. it looks like a list of some sort and I'm looking for a list of some sort. both "women" and "2000m" are words that are key. I'll click on that one first.

                    step 6. http://www.algonet.se/~pela2/athletics/w_2000ok.htm

Wow! That was it! What are the chances? I'd bet it must be one in a googleplex (sic)?

                    Now you try it, poopyhead.

                    You're welcome.

Don't know about the others here, but I quite like trying to rack what few brain cells I have left with these trivial questions.

                      Anyone can google...
