    OK, Marsh Farmer of Texas Tech was a world class hurdler in 1938 and 1939. His best was 14.2 which was excellent at a time when only Forrest Towns and Fred Wolcott had been under 14 seconds.
    But the amazing thing about Marsh Farmer was that he had only one arm!

    He was a Texan and world class but there was something extremely unique about him.
    He also has something in common with Dixon Farmer.
