  • Who's who?(38)...

Who is the oldest human being (a man, I suppose)
to have ever run a regular electric sub-11"00
    100m in history?...
    The same question about a sub-50"00 400m.

The earliest sub-11.00 electric 100m that I can remember is Eddie Tolan & Raplh Metcalfe's 10.38 at the 1932 LA OG, although I'm sure that there was an even ealier sub-11.00 FAT 100m by one of those two...

Lee evans ran 47.5 as a 42 year old,not sure of the exact FAT.
Kevin Mourning ran 10.92 as a Master back in '96 I believe.

              Was that the
              >question?? I thought he was asking who the oldest person to run sub 11.00 was,
              >not the oldest recorded performance of a sub 11.00 100m...

That is the second time I have done that today...my apologies, it has been a tough day...

I think nobody knows the answers.
                Neither do I...

These may help for the 100. Bill Collins may be your guy.
