He looks pretty good for a guy who died in 1967, doesn't he?! Would have been 62 this year.

Re: Paul McCartney RIP
Seems ironic that some of the songs Paul Mc sang pre-date the first super bowl and that he was more entertaining than the first half of the game itself. Of course there are huge turn arounds... 40 years ago any Beatles performance would have outdrawn the Super Bowl! And 40 years ago they wouldn't have had to fill the infield with hundreds of young shills to act excited or send up fireworks to indicate the really hot parts of McCartney's act. Still, the guy is pretty damn good at what he does after all these years.

>By the way Mr. Jacksonville, how has life been since the circus came to town?<
Either every bad driver in the southeast USA has descended on the town, or we have all turned into road ragers. In any case, I've just inside a lot.

>>The Beatles largest gig was 55,600 when they played Shea Stadium.<<
That was sell-out capacity for a concert. They could have sold 250,000 tickets easily.

Re: Paul McCartney RIP
Two things-based on the internet prices of Super Bowl tickets, they could sell a lot more seats to that game. Also, nice thread title. I thought maybe it was true and that a Beatles reunion would become even less of a possibility.
