The ad touched every base that it had to and was a beautful balance of Barack's story and political policies and the lives of ordinary Americans. Not one negative line in it.
Kudos to whoever put it together.
I loved it and plan to watch it again at 8pm PST.
I don't know if Americans know or care how much the rest of the world is rooting for him. 8-)

Certianly a large Democratic congress would help though.

it may be even more by now
you americans are not just voting for your country, but for the future goodwill with europe for next few years - if obama lives upto his promises, we can see rapprochment with france ( which has been politically hostile to america for past 8y ), an improved relationship with germany ( has been a cool relationship since merkel came to power ), likely much better relations with britain ( we have cameron, a young, charasmatic obama-like opposing leader, who is likely to become prime minister - he is currently leader of the "republican" party in britain, but he has "connected" with obama - both young men with a similar vision of the world )
a strong american-euro relationship is probably most important international relationship in the world

Tube Time
A very well-conceived message to unsure white voters (Blacks have voted 89-95% Dem in the last three presidential elections- and similar #'s since Humphrey vs. Nixon). McCaskill, Sibelius, a Lugar mention, Gen. Patton reference, a speech where Obama cited small biz.
The question is, how did it play to those at which it was aimed? Some smart t.v. producer should have asked a small live audience of undecideds afterwards.
