    MJD? Anyone?
Roots did the 2000 Canadian Olympic outfits which were more popular than the over-designed stuff that other counties were wearing.

There's even a Roots store in Beverly Hills now! You know it's gotta be high fashion.

For me, it is when the pit stains get to be too gross (and there is such a thing as too gross pit stains).
Am I the only one who already knew that?
Why would you through it out just because of stains? There is always a use for t-shirts. :P

My t-shirts are ranked until unuseable. I have two drawers full of quality T-shirts, hardly worn and only for short periods. (Have a Geb shirt from Ethiopia, haven't worn it yet.) Then there is the drawer for common day shirts, ones without stains but no longer on my must keep list. Then comes the two drawers of athletic use shirts, ones used for exercise. Still in good condition although some are torn or stained but still comfortable. The final stage becomes housework, until they are covered in dirt, paint, grass, etc... stains and holes smaller than a fist they stay.

My wife says I have too many.

Oh, back to the question ops: I have a few from 84.

I have Island Marathon shirts from '82 and '83 and an '84 olympic wrestling shirt that my son wears routinely - does that count?

I also have a quilt made from t-shirts including a '78 Peachtree RR shirt and some college wrestling shirts from the same timeframe.

Oldest racing singlet: fall '67 HS (made in about '58). That's from the days when I was about 60% of my present weight.

I've got a Pre's Run t-shirt from about 1980 still, but it's too valuable to wear any more. Will probably end up selling it on ebay.
