  • My law school 40th reunion (which was postponed a year to this May) just announced it will be virtual. Of course, it avoids a conflict with my officiating the IC4A - if they hold the IC4A.

      Yes.
"In Seminole County, north of Orlando, anyone who wants the vaccine will need to show proof that they own or rent property in Florida, such as a driver’s licence, utility bill or rent payment, emergency management director Alan Harris told the Orlando Sentinel."

My Publix is offering them, if you get on the computer at 6 a.m. and wait and wait until they’re booked up. I’ll give it a few more weeks.

Pandemic is break point for tennis stars in Australia

Is there a prize for coronavirus obliviousness? If so, it would be hard to beat the guests at a gender reveal party in Basingstoke who, when busted by the police, said they were “unaware of the global pandemic, as they never watch the news”.

....this week’s prize for genuine obliviousness goes to Vanessa Sierra.

Ms Sierra is a big name on OnlyFans, a website used largely by minor celebrities with clothing allergies. The girlfriend of Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic, she has complained of quarantine conditions ahead of next month’s Australian Open. The food is bad, and the hotel room only has space for “minimal yoga”.

But the “worst part of quarantine”, she says in a YouTube video, is the lack of a hairdresser. “I don’t wash my own hair. I’ve never washed my own hair.”

Well that's a politically correct way to describe it! 😆

I was a bit alarmed when I read that headline...but when I read the article, I saw that they mean halving it from the plan to stretch the gap to 12 weeks, therefore bringing it down to 6 weeks, not halving Pfizer's recommended 3 weeks down to 1.5.
