I'm vaccinated (J&J) but plan to add a Moderna shot soon. Masks seem pretty much gone in the grocery stores and restaurants. Most Floridians don't seem to know that we still rank #1 in new cases and top 3 in new deaths. The Gov decided to not have any stats on a daily basis, just weekly. Today I read 6 of the rescuers in Miami condo collapse have tested positive. All my friends have been vaccinated so tomorrow we party.

Get it soon.

Summer might be fine as many people will be outside but the fall and winter holidays are going to be a disaster - like 2020 - for the unvaccinated.

I had wondered about that. CVS said it would be O.K. but they claimed to be out of vaccines. What they were really saying is that they didn't want to be on the hook if anything went wrong. My GP said it sounded good but wouldn't put her imprimatur on it. Apparently CDC has to O.K. it before the medical profession will go along. I wonder how much it would cost anyway?
Was also turned away by another pharmacy in Publix. I know someone who went to another Publix, told them they had their Dr.'s recpmmendation and got one.

It's sort of understandable. Positive is usually used as meaning good not bad. But... an uneducated mind is becoming very popular these days..

If it is a test for covid, PEDs, alcohol or whatever, a positive result means that what you are testing for is there.

3 actually including the high school meet.

Most in town are vaccinated....also you had to show your vaccine card to sit in the vaccinated area...there were very few in the unvaxxed queue trying to enter.

took a long time, but I finally got touched by C19; extended family on my late wife's side. Husband and wife both turned up positive. He, a non-vaxxer, died 2 days after being in hospital. She was vaxxed, was discharged from hospital after treatment for kidney pain.
