Plus the fact that 20% of Florida is 60 years or older. Florida has been averaging 250+ hospitalizations for a week or so, and the death toll is climbing again.

Georgia had been separating PCR and antigen tests until yesterday or today so our numbers were artificially low. Only the PCR tests were getting aggregated. We hit an all time high today.

Ah... yes. We've been doing fairly well since our hospitals haven't been pushed to the brink. But we are at a steady 2% CFR. So as other states have have big surges and ebbs we just keep on cranking out 30-50 dead every day. 2 months ago we were up to 12th in deaths/100k. Now we're back down to 15th (where we were in late July).

It says I'm behind 391,100 (1M total) others in my county, but given the wariness and procrastination factors, I'd bet I'm easily in the top 100,000. Might be Feb or March?
