Self centered morons.....Last week, police arrested a California couple visiting Hawaii on their honeymoon after they ignored warnings to stay inside their hotel room.

Upon arriving in Waikiki, authorities say the man and woman were advised by hotel staff that the state's emergency pandemic orders required them to self-quarantine. The couple reportedly ignored the instructions and left the hotel. After returning to their hotel around midnight, they were again warned by hotel staff to not leave their room. After again breaking quarantine the next day, hotel staff called police, who arrested the couple.

Yeah, the couple should have known that a hotel HVAC circulating air through a honeycomb matrix of human cubicles is the best way to keep everyone safe from infecting each other with a respiratory virus. It is so much more safe than being outdoors and breathing fresh air.

Someone should lecture those two selfish bastards how great such lockdowns worked in NYC!

In Sonoma County (Northern California), we've had 309 positives out of 9605 tests (for a 525,000 population). Contrarily to the quoted statement, more females (161) have tested positive than males (148). Want to believe we have stronger men up here, but my wife says that's because Sonoma women do all the work. It should be added that all 4 deaths in Sonoma County were over 65 males.

Tom Inglesby of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health notes that the country reported 3,700 new daily cases on April 23. Less than two weeks later, on May 6, new daily cases had more than tripled, to 11,896. The developments in Brazil “are really concerning,” Inglesby told me.
