For the first time ever, the US is currently averaging over 3K #COVID19 deaths every single day, according to Johns Hopkins University.

In 4-5 days we will pass 400,000 deaths and the world will pass 2 million.

That's very sobering. If that's true, the US has less than 5% of the world's population, but 20% of the world's deaths. I suspect some or all of that may be due to serious under-reporting elsewhere.

385K according to another source (Worldometer). Either way it's an awful statistic, and the worst part is we're not showing any sign of slowing down. California is now New York and N.Y. is taking off again. Xmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter to come.

Depends on whether only confirmed deaths are included or probable deaths are also included. NY has over 7K and NJ over 2K probable deaths included.
