Florida added 2,448 deaths, according to Friday's report. Coronavirus casualties can take weeks, sometimes months, to enter official reports. The state Health Department continues to refuse to publish death tallies in each county.
Another death record:Florida breaks COVID-19 deaths record fourth week in a row as infections slow down
Missing data:How many people have died of COVID-19 in your Florida community? State won’t tell you
Overall, Florida reported 100,249 new COVID-19 cases, down 22.4% from the previous week's tally of 129,202.
The number of Floridians killed by COVID-19, 48,772, now eclipses the number of American soldiers killed by hostile forces during the Vietnam War, 47,434, as reported by the U.S. military.

I've come to believe we will never ever untangle all of the information surrounding this issue. Too many organizations reporting too many numbers with too many different definitions of what something is.
Lies, damned lies, and statistics. You there, on the motorbike! Sell me one of your melons!
