I have a Facebook friend who lives in Louisiana where apparently Dr Immanuel had a practice at one point. She says Dr Immanuel almost killed her friend's baby.

When I googled Dr Immanuel and Louisiana I found this... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ient-died.html

    • Immanuel sounds, by all accounts, to be a full-on wacko, but I always feel compelled to point out on any links to the Daily Mail that it's a tabloid of the first order.

Houston Chronicle reports on the same matter:

          • I got paywall blocked on the Chronicle, hence the Daily Mail link.

Among the drugs Kodak initially will focus on will be hydroxychloroquine.

                    Mr. Navarro's is a penny a gross.

                    • The doc in this post -- https://forum.trackandfieldnews.com/...84#post1657584 -- uses this drug on all his Covid-19 patients, I believe.

There’s “no evidence” to show the anti-malarial drug is effective in treating COVID-19, Adm. Brett Giroir said.

                        • I wonder what future endeavor the good Admiral has lined up since he'll likely need it sooner than later.

                          • Somewhat sad about Kodak, a cutting edge R&D company with a fantastic market share in film, then came Fuji and then the ccd. These and slothfulness at the executive level, a lack of vision and commitment to the firm led to a gradual erosion.

                            • The saga continues....

The US sent Brazil millions of hydroxychloroquine doses. Months later, they're still in storage

The Trump administration's donation of 2 million doses of hydroxychloroquine to Brazil -- one of a handful of countries that still recommend the drug for Covid-19 -- has been mostly untouched since arrival, Brazilian officials have told CNN. Vast quantities of the pills are still sitting in storage in the Brazilian megacity of São Paulo, and one former health minister believes they may eventually have to be destroyed.

The pills' fate in Brazil is appropriate given their medical uselessness against Covid-19: Study after study has shown hydroxychloroquine does not work to treat the coronavirus, and may be harmful. Yet Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro insists that hydroxychloroquine helped him recover from a two-week infection, and Brazil's health ministry advises that doctors prescribe the drug to treat mild cases, even for pregnant women. Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus infections in the country is skyrocketing.

Bolsonaro and trump are in a contest to see who has the most inept response to covid19. My Portuguese tutor insists it is Bolsonaro.
