I noticed that a lot of my responses (7 out of 20) received indicated that they were favored in western Great Lakes region. Let's see - Dad and Mom both moved to CA at age three (from NY and OK). I lived here all my life (except that two year purgatory in TN). Not one answer indicated 'used mostly in the western US" or some such. I guess that week I spent in Chicago a few years back was very influential.
