The job of an NFL quarterback is to, when he leaves the field, have his his team ahead in points -something Tom Brady was (but maybe no longer) the master of.....

Every time Ryan left the field his team was ahead. This one's on the defense.

Only idiots who don't understand football.

For the record the Super Bowl loss was also a defensive collapse. Ryan was terrific with an almost perfect 144.1 QB rating(#4 all-time).

That might be. But the 2 biggest collapses in NFL history, and years apart on different teams both had Matt Ryan as starting QB. That is quite a coincidence I must say.

And it's also a coincidence that Frank Reich was the QB of the team (Bills) that held the previous record for biggest comeback.

Once upon a time Reich was the QB of the biggest D1 comeback as well.

The Colts fired Reich on November 7.

As noted. Reich wasn't the coach today.

                          • But you're the only one who felt he had to point it out. There was really no need for you to post number 747, unless you wanted to prove to everyone how superior you are. OK, I concede it, you're a freaking genius.

Also...at least at one time...in the college game as well when he was at Maryland (vs. Miami FL I think).

                              edit: didn't see scott's post.
