Ya know, I know about more about those implosion cats than anyone. Been studying it years. Best implosions are always down in the southeast USA. No doubt about it. Big 10 country can't match up. HaHaHa ... Hmmmmm???

Building demolitions are amazing to watch. About 20 years I saw a documentary on something Discovery Channel about a group out of Baltimore called the Loizeaux Brothers who do many of the major demolitions in the US. They talked about how they set it up to bring the buildings down as an implosion and do it safely for those around them. Great documentary. I've since found some of their stuff on youtube - their company is called Controlled Demolitions. Here's an old post on them - https://www.washingtonpost.com/archi...-f3956b099699/

Agree. A colossal waste. Wrigley Field has lasted about 1000 years, I don't see why Riverfront Stadium, where I watched Reds games in my youth, couldn't as well.
