Aneesah Morrow is joining defending champion LSU after spending the last two seasons at DePaul.

This reminds me of Miami Heat when James and Bosh joined Wade. I hope the end result will be the same.

I guess this is as good a place as any for this - Dick Groat died today. One of the great two-sport athletes. First person to be elected into the College Baseball and College Basketball Hall of Fame. Still has the highest average ppg for a career in basketball at Duke. Played 1 year in the NBA and then 16 years in MLB. Won a batting title, an MVP, and was on 2 World Series champions (1960 Pirates, 1964 Cardinals).

At various Duke events I met him briefly twice and he was also an incredibly nice guy.

It's not about knowlede, but about interest. He doesn't care as much about sports other than basketball. And he believes winning the national championship is the most important factor in determining the greatest.

So Reese is the best player on the only LSU basketball team that won the national championship. As he wrote, others, including himself, could not deliver the goods when it counted most.

Most people would not agree with him, and if he were another random LSU grad, no one would be talking about his opinion now.

That may be true but he knows who all the LSU legends are in every sport just by osmosis.
