How about nominations/reposting of the greatest (or most infamous) single post of the last 20 years?

We kinda started over in 2005. I don't know when I joined because they were all wiped out.

I resurrected the first post (Apr 16, 2003) a few times to note anniversaries. I (tafnut) even started a thread on Day 1 called 'Field and Track', but can't seem to find them any more.

        Here's another one:

I met Halfmiler and Trackstar in Eugene! MJR is still around too.

The first (?) topic, which was started by the recently departed Mr. Hersh:

          Paula in Athens

The first topic started by tafnut/Marlow/Atticus:

          Field & Track

We could start a list of the most obnoxious posts & posters but it might get us all banned !

Actually, you met me. Half Miler registered a bit before me, so I became halfmiler2. I think I do go back to near the beginning. And I do not think Half Miler is active on the board anymore.

Aha, thanks for the clarification. It certainly was a pleasure meeting you and the others!

I anticipate a bigger anniversary celebration in February, for the semisesquicentennial of the magazine.

My first post, when Alan Webb was all the rage. Didn't get much traction.

How do you look up your first post? I thought everything prior to Oct 2005 disappeared.

Did you ever acquire the back issues you were missing?

I guess that means the January issue was the penultimate semisesquicentennial issue.

I think I'm still missing one.
