I was surprised to see her at the Arenes de Lutèce, Paris, while she was singing a song "What ever you need" for a video-clip, in 2000.

Today I learned her birth name was Anna Mae Bullock.

Ike trademarked the name Tina Turner, allegedly so that he could replace her if she left. She had to acquire the rights to it after they got divorced.
