As for the poll, I'm not sure what kinds of meat I ate while in Berlin last month. We did have pork knuckle, though -- what I can only describe as a "giant pile of meat"...

Braunschweiger is a subset of liverwurst so I'd say you get partial credit if you had a side of bacon at the same time-(thats what it is.... smoked liverwurst with bacon&baconfat added)
BTW at the 1904 Olympic Games Alfred Braunschweiger won a silver medal for "Fancy Diving".Tom Hyland:

Ate tons of it while stationed in Post WII Frankfort/Main.. none until about four years ago and none since,... stopped for post-football game meal at local German resturant with fellow track official friend.. the next day, he was in a serious motorcycle/car crash (he was the motorcycle) crushed his helmet, and him, multiple compound fractures in three extremities.. several days in a coma.. he recovered to be able to drive but suffered short term memory loss and could not officiate again.
