How about Skippy the kangaroo for Sydney. Total guess, but who knows?

Anyone else see that show as a kid?

Surely the dachshund would be called Pretzel?

A sacred tree? Then why does it look so goofy? It certainly beats out all the crappy olympic mascots for the most inane thing on a sports field; hands down. Whatcha gonna do? Come up here and kick my butt?

Did you just create that logo or is it for real? Will it just sit there and move at a geological pace?

Move over tree thing, we may have a contender for the most inane.

And to stay on topic so far we have:

                missing sausage dogs name (1972), the ? (1988) and the critters/kangeroo? (2000)

bambam, that is AWESOME that you can do that from memory! (because, after all, looking up the answer, even in YOUR OWN BOOK, would be deemed cheating!!)
                          :-)

Well, then, I cheated. But only after the link had been decided and people could not remember all the mascot names. You guys were doing pretty good, though.
