      Which one would that be? The NOAA doesn't seem to be aware of it, which is worrisome.

        I think he is referring to what NOAA is calling a "disturbance" over the western Yucatan peninsula. A 30% chance of it developing into a cyclone in the next 5 days, at which point they estimate it to be in the western or central Gulf of Mexico.

          • If the "disturbance" strengthens into a tropical storm, it will be named Mindy. Not currently forecast to reach hurricane strength,
            but could possibly bring heavy rains to Louisiana. Meanwhile, Hurricane Larry is forecast to strengthen to a Level 4, but seems
            destined to stay well out in the Atlantic, perhaps passing just to the east of Bermuda in a few days.

              Now headed for Florida panhandle and Eastward. Looks less like a storm to worry about.
