Former Tennessee men's basketball coach Ray Mears died two days ago. He put us on the map in hoops. Ironically, his former assistant, Stu Aberdeen, died on the same day many years ago. Coach Aberdeen recruited many stars for us, including Ernie Grunfeld and Bernard King.
