            interesting vid

            reminds me of being taught about hittites/assyrians/mesopotamians/chaldeans etc at school

            in retrospect, it was quite ridiculous - the ole curriculum required 12y oles to spend a term ( 1/3rd year ) learning from mespotomians to norman conquests, with something like 3 or 4 weeks on this ancient middle east stuff

            no one at the time in class understood it, as it was just a mess of countless tribes moving around a relatively small area of land

            it's more interesting/understandable to read when you grow up
