  • No "sluggish" Big 10....

...team in the biggie this season. Great!!!!!!!! Just like in track, the Big10 is.....slowwwwww! Last year Florida was wayyyyyyyyy too speedy for the Buckeyes, just as LSU/Oregon would have been this season. College football is all about two things....

So why is it that Big-10 teams often BEAT SEC teams? That just makes NO sense whatsoever! The SEC led the Big Ten with a 63-45-2 all-time record at the beginning of the year (sez Mr. Google), but that still leaves 45 unexplainable wins.

You ignored the question. You didn't notice the huge difference in "team" speed?

I'm sure the fact that southern athletes/sprinters can train outdoors much more of the year has NOTHING to do with it!

If you're talking among current footballers, let's start with prep stars Brandon Saine and Brian Hartline, both with Ohio State. I doubt either will be running track again.

I don't care about the "why" the fact is it's a slow conference, which is what I said......right? Obviously there is a reason. I bet once Afro Americans were allowed to play in the SEC, the SWAC lost a lot of athletes...huh?

                    Trindon Holliday
                    John Capel
                    Leonard Scott
                    Justin Gatlin
                    Leroy Dixon
                    Wallace Spearmon
                    Tyson Gay
                    Coby Miller
                    Xavier Carter

We have to go back to wayyyyyyy back in the day to find some quality Big10 sprinters.

                        Has there ever been a Big10er run a sub10.00?

Omole (9,96) has run windy. Also a member of the gold-medal winning and world record-setting 400m relay at the 2004 World Junior Championships.

You are talking up "one" Big 10 sprinter with a "windy" sub10.00 vs "ALL" those SEC studs.....huh???????

                            Beat this with Big10ers.

                            SEC All Star 4x1

                            leadoff....Leonard Scott
                            second...Justin Gatlin
                            third...Dennis Mitchell

What was your question, "Give me the names of a few great Big10 sprinters..."

Big-10 hasn:t produced as slow sprinters as you suggest by avoidance.
