    Yes, and Hari Seldon was the original brains behind the Foundation.

    OK, so a clue for Tantor: Cheetah.

    Wasn't Trantor the seat of the galactic government in Asimov's Foundation trilogy? I haven't read it in about thirty years, but that seems to ring a bell.

    Jeez - 25 THOUSAND posts and the 'tude is still not ascertainable?
    To paraphrase a famous bad hammy quote - you'll know when I'm kidding by the fact that I'm posting.

    FWIW, it was Tralfamadore - that was the name of the planet Billy Pilgrim was taken to by aliens (and put into a zoo with a porn star).

    So, for the quiz of the day, ID those three words.

    quiz=no peekie! Anywhere!
    Great: now I can't stop thinking Transmogrified

    My ex-wife once rear-ended somebody in an intersection, much to her embarrassment, in having to admit to being at fault to the cop, she had to blush away as he gazed at her "CRS" t-shirt (a relic of the '92 Olympic Trials; one good reason for Nationals to return to NO!) and thought, "no shit!"

    If Cullman--king of the obscure--can't come up with an answer, guess I better start tossing out some hints!
