  • Micthell PED Report Leak

The first names to emerge (leak?) - R. Clemens and A. Pettitte, courtesy of a N.Y. trainer. Also that of the less stellar David Segui.

MSNBC reports there are 12 MVP's implicated.

    Stay tuned...

My thoughts exactly - one of the most obvious cases in all of sports.

Local radio guys say that ironically this will all work in Bonds' favor (not in his legal case, but legacy-wise). No longer the only known fish in the ocean.

            The leaked list

Cards fans are gonna be disappointed in two of their guys.

            There are three Jason's.

Somone traded yesterday is on the leaked list.

            A-Rod's safe.

A pennant winning catcher who lost a great deal of muscle three seasons ago is implicated.

It reads like a Who's Who of those who suffered nagging injuries in the mid-to-late 1990's and early 2000's.

I "only" counted seven or eight MVP's, not the reputed 12.

Univision and Telemundo will have their work cut out for them tonight (as will parents of young fans in Puerto Rico an the D.R.)

I believe that what you meant to say is:
I'm shocked, shocked to find that PED use is going on in Major League Baseball!

Nothing could save him from a sky-high ERA in 2007.

That too. Next they'll be saying that that the NFL is just as bad. :? Who is this Mitchell guy anyway, what does he know about professional sports? Clearly his report is not reputable.

Clemens (4,18) compared to his previous two seasons (1,87 - 2,30).

Will this revelation test fan support for the sport? I don:t believe it will. The 1994 strike gave fans no outlet whatsoever. This is something they:ll forget come march-april.

                              Hit List

Olbermann's on MSNBC saying fans will still come. ESPN.com's Howard Bryant has issues w/ Mitchell's mixed allegiances and methodology:
