    Well, me for one! But who knows what athleticism is lurking beneath peculiar clothing. From track star to (golf) Hall of Famer
    IF Pak Se Ri was not a golfer, she could very well have gone on to make a name for herself in track and field.

      pak is known for her powerful legs, but she is short

      i know devers got away with being short & a 100m runner, but i'd have figured on pak being more like an 800/1500 runner

        Bob Gardner - world record holder in pole vault in 1913 - US Amateur golf champion in 1915

        Fred Hansen - 1964 Olympic pole vault champion - competed in the US Amateur golf championship several times in late 80s while working as a dentist.

        Must be something about pole vaulting and golf.

          My son works for the local butcher. He can run sub 2 for 800m. Does this mean all butchers are athletes? :roll:
