Sorry, nobody reads The New Yorker.

The only thing it's good for is potty training puppies,

Reminds me of a Yogism - "No one eats there any more. It's too crowded."

The NYer circulation figures tend to disagree with you.

Do I detect an anti-liberal bias?

My students wrote an essay every other week all fall in response to its 'Talk of the Town' pieces. Even ardent liberals can burn out on its left-wing screeds. On the other hand it's MUCH better than any of Ann Coulter's harangues!

Only column of Ann Coulter's I've enjoyed was the tribute to her deceased father.

If you want to ignore the political pieces up front, the magazine is still worth buying. Many of their long features are very informative, they're all well written, and many of them have nothing to do with political matters. I've been a subscriber for decades.

That's pretty expensive paper training, when they've got the NY Post right there at their feet too.

Now THAT is fascinating. How did the little poochies become people? :?

                              They didn't become people - they became Americans . . .
