Not a political question: if a candidate--oh, say McCain-- was born on a U.S. miltary base--oh, say, like Panama C.Z.--and they are "naturalized" citizens of the U.S., why would there be any restriction on their becoming prez? Legal eagles have any ideas? What was the Founding Fathers' purpose with this "restriction?"
Just wondering BECAUSE I was born in Panama, C.Z. and was always told I could never run for prez, much to my disgruntlement and of course the county's loss.
