U.S. Boxer could have lost Olympic bout due to confusion
Come on guys, why the insults towards boxers? We get our panties in a knot if other sports enthusiast say that track athletes are "drawn" to drugs, but freely question their general intelligence/IQ. Both are generalizations, and both are offensive to the individuals at the top of their game.

I am listening to his post fight comments...he is DEFINITELY not Phi-Beta-Kappa material! Too stupid to come out of the rain. He'll never amount to anything in the pros.
Since when do you have be a Mensa member to be successful in pro boxing?
Anything close to an IQ score of 90 would be superior for most boxers!

Of course, he didn't lose the bout due to the misunderstanding, he lost the CHANCE to catch up.
Fact is he fell behind when he was fighting full bore. NBC and the rest of the US media may try to spin it that he lost due to his mistake, but the guy he was fighting was a former world champion, who was legitimately ahead with just 50 seconds left in the fight when Warren stopped attacking.
Good info there...I didn't see the bout, just the article. Makes sense to me...NBC and the U.S. media putting a spin on it?!? I'm shocked
