I second that. Once they realized they had all that time, with so few stories that they wanted to share, they spend hours on meaningless pap. Nancy Grace and her clone on Headline News spend disproportionate time on that station casting aspersions on people they feel have wronged innocent white children. Starvation, war, and the like take a back seat to this?

Sit through a hurricane down here, when all the local stations feel compelled to have round-the-clock coverage (because we care!), even though they have absolutely nothing else to say except 'hunker down'!!!!

One day one of them will die from flying debris because they do not take their own advice. Then you will see a real "news" frenzy.

Yes, wasn't that fun Marlow? And nothing like the channel's own commercials pumping how great their coverage of the storm was while showing some poor family carrying their waterlogged belongings out of their flooded house. "Hey, look how good our coverage is! We showed the most misery of any channel in town! WEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Watching Stewart's daily analysis of the DNC (and one would assume the RNC to come) is priceless stuff.

I agree. The Daily Show makes the whole thing look comical, even the parts that seem so moving and emotional when you watch the real thing.
