    The guy was EPIC. I can't imagine a trailer without him. RIP, Movie Voice Dude.

      he smoke a million coffin nails to get that voice and it finally killed him. I had a good friend who also had emphsema and also died in complications during a collapsed lung surgury.

        no question he was he king, but they never gave anyone else a chance to prove they coud be king !

        i did find it a bit repetitive same guy seemed to voice every trailer

              let's put it this way

              he was good for sci-fi/war/will smith films, but he was bereft at rom-coms/period pieces

              i can imagine in a keira knightley, shakespeare period piece :

              "in a world where men wore tights & women wore, err...tights, emerged a young princess wearing...err...tights"
              hardly cuts the mustard

              i'll give you a suggestion :

              jean-luc picard is now doing ads for banks over here

              he may be a voice to do some of the fallout work

                I really liked Morgan Freeman's voice work for the Olympic commercials. Not as "authoritative" perhaps, but dripping with honesty.

                  Morgan Freeman is the best dramatic narrator in American theater, without doubt. Previously it was Alexander Scourby... he narrated Victory at Sea.
