It's over. Quite the hoopla on the tele tonight. I was never a Yankees fan, favored the Redsand the NL, but have to tip my hat to the Yankees and the stadium. Among the crazy Yankee Stadium stats in the paper this week.....21% of all World Series games ever played, were played in The House That Ruth Built.

I saw my first-ever game there in about 1955.... Yankees versus the old Washington Senators. Mantle hit 3 homers that afternoon, which oddly, he only did that one time in his career. -
Some people are upset about this for another reason.
