One of my all-time favorite movies was Orfeu Negro (Black Orpheus). I get chills just thinking about its beauty, its music, and its drama. If you've never seen it, see it. It will astonish you and move you.
I was saddened this morning to read of the passing of Marpessa Dawn, the beautiful woman who played Eurydice. This came 41 days after the death of Breno Mello, who played Orfeo.
